Our perspective article titled "Navigating the challenges of global NOx emissions throughout the energy transition: state of play and outlook" has been published in the Royal Society of Chemistry journal Sustainable Energy & Fuels.
The key message of this work: Nitrogen oxides cause damage to the climate, environment, and to human health. Renewable fuels will only exacerbate this issue, with current technologies struggling to effectively abate emissions. Electrochemical NOx abatement technologies could overcome cost and operational challenges facing current abatement technologies.
